Ievan polkka (Ellin polkka)

Ievan polkka is a Finnish polka, which became world-famous, even viral, in 2006. That is when the singing group Loituma’s a cappella performance of the song became an internet hit.

This song has traditionally been not only sung but played with the accordion by Finnish folk players. Here it is also known as Ellin polkka (Elli’s Polka). Our arrangement is also made in Finland – as authentic as it gets!
