Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring – Jesus bleibet meine Freude (J.S. Bach)

In his early composing years Johann Sebastian Bach wrote several cantatas. One of the most well-known is number 147, which is especially famous for this beautiful orchestral piece. In German, it is called Jesus bleibet meine Freude, and in English Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.

This arrangement is for free-bass accordion. It can be played with the standard bass accordion, too, but it won’t sound as fresh.

We offer two slightly different versions: one for the piano accordion and one for button accordion. The piano accordion version is a little bit easier and it can be played with the button accordion, too.
